Will for Clark Harvey, Union County, KY.
Family tradition has it that Clark Harvey left Lucinda Harvey and children because she was “not good to him”, and either went to Illinois or Kentucky. Supposedly Clark was going to return for the children but before he could do so was killed by being run over by a team of horses.
Clark is listed as living with his parents in the 1870 census of Blount County TN and is not found in the 1880 census. Lucinda is listed as widowed in 1880.
There are no Clark Harvey’s listed in the 1870 census of Union County, KY. There’s is listed a Robert Harvey Family. Robert was born about 1799 in Tennessee and may be Clark Harvey’s uncle (Robert Harvey was involved in several civil cases in Monroe County in the 1830s with Michael Harvey).
